Latin 3Acc (period G) & Latin 3Acc (period A) - After a quick hoc die in historiā, we had some time for announcements, questions and Latin mos! We then read Pseudolos' Ad Villam Rusticam together to review what happens in story 31. You all even had some time for a quick round of GimKit-- bene factum, Olivia et Elenor!!

Latin 2Acc (period C) - After a quick quizizz, we took a look at hoc die in historiā. We then read for 10 minutes since we didn't get a chance to do that last class. You then had a few minutes to fill out your log and respond to the survey. Finally, we finished going over the chapter 18 vocabulary.

Latin 2Acc (period D) - After a quick quizizz, we took a look at hoc die in historiā. We then tried something new-- TPR with the verbs. You guys then read a story and every time we got to a new verb, we acted out the form. We then had some time for you guys to write your own stories and we took time to act out some of the vocabulary. Lastly, we previewed the homework.

Latin 4Acc/H - Today we made scriblitas! Since we read about the boys eating scriblitas on their way to school, we decided we'd make our own. My hope is that we are connecting hands on activity to the ancient world to help make it feel more relevant! Latin 2Acc (period D) - Salvete, discipuli!! Desidero vos omnes :-) So taking Thursday and Friday's class into consideration, you have 140 minutes of Latin class time to complete the tasks below. By Monday's class or earlier (I'll probably check during period B to be precise) I'll check to make sure you have the following:
1) MN worksheet completed
2) play *two* rounds of Mare Nostrum on a computer and take a screen shot of your final score; here are the set up instructions. NB - the top score is 740 so try to get as close to that as possible! In the 700s, you'll earn your gens 30 denarii. 650-699, 20. . . You can email the pictures to me when you're done. If you're finding this level of MN too difficult, in the set up, you can select the bottom box so you're just identifying the gender, number, case of the pair. You can start there but you should work towards playing the game by providing the correct pair.
3) Do this both on Thursday AND Friday -- Read for 10 minutes (in Latin) and fill in your reading log (5ish minutes); I've shared your log with you-- the responses and number of responses are on the second page. There are some new books on the back table but here are some more PDFs.

1) Practice magistrula until you get 10 correct answers (don't worry about macrons but DO worry about vowels!) Remember-- you can select VOC for the Latin vocabulary! Your in class assessment will be based on a magistrula activity so the best way to prepare for that is to play this game
2) Read for 10 minutes and respond to your reading in your log. I have created a log for you and shared it with you. I'll probably be checking this sometime on Monday (period B). There are some new books on the back table but here are some more PDFs.

In the 700s, you'll earn your gens 30 denarii. 650-699, 20. . . You can email the pictures to me when you're done. If you're finding this level of MN too difficult, in the set up, you can select the bottom box so you're just identifying the gender, number, case of the pair. You can start there but you should work towards playing the game by providing the correct pair.
